The nearest town to Semley is Shaftesbury. The railway station is nowhere near the village. The railway line crosses the A350 Blandford-Warminster road a few miles north of Shaftesbury

From the East, either take the A303 from Amesbury past Stonehenge and head South on the A350, or take the A30 from Salisbury to Shaftesbury and head North on the A350

From the West, take the A303 past Wincanton and head South on the A350, or take the A30 from Yeovil to Shaftesbury and head North on the A350
